In 2025, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Fribourg. It was a multidisciplinary bachelor’s degree requiring the choice of two complementary subjects. Having been passionate about Hispanic culture for many years, I opted for Spanish and sociology.

These choices allowed me to spend a semester studying abroad at CEU San Pablo University in Madrid. This experience was extremely enriching, both academically and personally. The university had state-of-the-art technology, which allowed me to put the knowledge I had acquired during my classes into practice.

I have just completed my first semester of a Master’s degree in Business Communication at the University of Fribourg. I chose business management as my complementary subject, with the aim of specializing in communication and marketing, two areas that particularly interest me.

What motivate you most about your intership ?

Being able to put my skills to good use in a committed team whose actions make sense. Developing my current skills and learning lots of things about communication, marketing, and occupational health. Psychology is a field that has always interested me greatly, even though I never studied it in depth during my studies. I’m looking forward to learning more about this field.

Why are you interested in occupational health ?

During my bachelor’s degree, I took a course called «Work» in my sociology major. I really enjoyed this course because we learned a lot about how to choose a career, how to find fulfillment in your job, how to keep employees satisfied, etc. We also had a short introduction to occupational health, which I found very interesting. As someone who is curious to learn, I am sure that this internship will allow me to acquire new skills and learn more about the field of occupational health.

What values are particularly important to you ?

For me, respect is something that is really important to me. I understand that ideas differ and that everyone has their own way of thinking, but we must always show respect for one another. When I start something and I’m motivated, I give my best to accomplish my mission; reliability is very important to me. Kindness is also a fundamental value that everyone should practice.

What do you do in your free time to recharge your batteries ?

It all depends on the season. In summer, I really enjoy relaxing by the lake, soaking up the sun, or having picnics. In winter, weather permitting, I love going to the mountains, skiing, or relaxing in front of a good Netflix series by the fireplace. Traveling is also one of my favorite pastimes. Since I speak several languages, I love discovering new cultures and new landscapes. Last year, I was lucky enough to spend five weeks in America: three weeks on a road trip along the west coast of the United States, then two weeks in Hawaii. It was a real feast for the eyes and I really took the time to recharge my batteries before starting my Master’s degree and the final stretch of my studies. I also really enjoy sports. Having done gymnastics for over 15 years, I am now an instructor and love teaching my knowledge and experience to children. I recently started running, and I regret never taking cardio seriously during my gym training… but I find it a great sport for recharging my batteries and unwinding.

Your advice for staying healthy ?

I think eating as balanced a diet as possible and exercising regularly are two very important things. But listening to your body is also crucial; it’s important to listen to yourself and not ignore any warning signs that could make the situation worse.

Which adjectives best describe you ?

I am a curious person who loves discovering new things every day. I am also a perfectionist and hard worker. I like to do things properly and deliver high-quality work, which fits well with the field of communications. I am also a cheerful person and always try to bring good humor to everything I do, even if it is more difficult at times.

For vacations: do you prefer the sea, the mountains or the city ?

To be honest, as long as I know I’m going to travel and discover a new country, a new island, or a new city, I’m the happiest person alive. But I would say that I still have a soft spot for the sea, the sun, and days spent sunbathing on the beach.

Do you prefer sweet or savory ?

I would say both. But it’s true that I tend to crave savory foods more. I try not to snack too much between meals, but I’m more likely to choose a bag of chips over a bag of cookies or chocolate.

Are you an early riser or a night owl ?

With my university schedule, I tend to go to bed late and get up late, unless I have early morning classes. It’s true that if I don’t have to get up in the morning, I like to sleep in. But surprisingly, when I get back into a work routine, I’m still able to get up in the morning, even though I often go to bed quite late.

Is there a quote that inspires you ?

A quote I like is « trust the process ». It reminds me that not everything happens immediately. Even when the results aren’t immediately visible, every step counts and is a learning experience. This quote helps me stay motivated, trust the work I’m doing, and accept that things take time..

« Trust the process »

Tell us a little about your background.
